Let’s meet and share ideas at SMM 2026 in Hamburg. Since I was trained in the legendary Chinese Shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua in 1984, it is over 40 years past. And in the past time, while keeping a close look on the industry develepment wordwide, I had actively visited over 200 shipyards in China and some in other countries. For certain yards, the visit frequencies have been over 100 times. The topic on ” New opportunities in China’s shipbuilding and the international cooperation” will be totally an experience based and with the engineering background ( Bob Li earned the engineer qualification in 1992 ). All interested profesionals are most welcomed to join our forum slot on Sept.2 at SMM and exchange ideas for the industry development and possible cooperations. This forum slot will start with the update on China shipbuilding development, current international cooperation, then special speeches on green and smart solutions will be presented. On the spotlight, invited industry professionals then will join the panel discussion sharing their insights on“ New opportunities in shipbuilding & shipping and the global cooperation between China & other regions”. More details will come later.
And from 1-4 September, we will be ready in SMM site to meet you and talk the possible opportunities in China.
