Among the 108 newbuilding orders signed in the first quarter, the tanker sector performed particularly well, with a total of 76 ships, covering:
▶ 54 very large oil tankers (VLCCs);
▶ 18 Suez-type tankers;
▶ 4 LRII product tankers.
